Subject: Amateur review of Mark Dimmitt's book

May I echo the above sentiments.  This is a superb book. I should think everyone on this group would want a copy.  It would also make an excellent present for horticultural friends, for birthdays and next  Christmas.  Even if you horticultural friends or relatives do not know about Adeniums, when they have this book, they will certainly want to grow them!

One tiny niggle, the photos on page 5 do not have any captions.  The lower photo is identified later in the book as Dr. Dimmitt's Adenium crispum 'MAD 106'.  This cultivar was used as a parent of 'Black Raspberry'  (Adenium crispum 'MAD 106' x A. obesum 'Black Ruby').

The photo above is of 'Mercédes' who has crispum 'MAD 106' in its parentage.

The parents are:

[('Crown' x 'Black Raspberry') x 'Star of Tomorrow'].  'Crown' is a large dark red and 'Star of Tomorrow' is a superb seedling of 'Harry Potter'.

This photo is also used on the back cover.  Also on the back cover, the flower next to crispum 'MAD 106', on the right is a seedling raised from Mr. Ko's seeds of 'Beauty Cloud II'.
