Hello, I work for a www.tixik.com project, currently we sent an email
with our bussiness plan to Adsense API team. Because we have not
received a reply yet, I would like to ask here in forum. I would like
to ask you people here, what does 100.000 daily PV means. Is it meant
site-wide INCLUDING pages, where we do not plan to use Adsense API
(pages, that were not created by our users), or this is meant for
pages, that will use Adsense API?

We definitelly have this PV number, but in case of only API-included
PV, this is impossible solution in case you create content
professional way. I will explain it - we pay our editorials fixed
payment for topics and translations currently and we would like to
transform them into Adsense API programme (great motivation for both
sides I think). But in case API-include PV only, we have just two
options :

1) Let them make money from content we have alredy payed them for
2) Convince them to create content for free, until they will reach
100.000 daily PV on pages we have not payed them yet.

All Google services terms we have read were all right and I hope I
just do not understand the meaning of this sentence. Thanks all for
your replies..

AdSense review team checks for the page view requirement before you
can start using AdSense APIs. So, that indicates the PV requirement is
for the site, not for the API included pages.

Also, Google AdSense API team should be able to find that your site is
large with required number of page views. They might be depending on
the number of Google indexed pages and many other options to find
this. As of now, I see that only 400+ pages of your site www.tixik.com
indexed by Google and it is hard to believe you have lot of traffic
with that low number of indexed pages (http://www.google.com/search?

These are just my opinions and may not be true.

Hi Lenka,

Allow me to jump in and give some context. First, let's look at the
letter of the requirement:

"Only websites with over 100,000 daily page views across user pages
are eligible."

The key here is "across user pages." For example, if you're a large
site with a very tiny blogging component, you're not eligible to use
the AdSense API to share revenue with your bloggers until those blog
pages get the required traffic. Traffic on your homepage or other
pages for which you retain the ad rights isn't eligible.

The intent of the requirement is that after the API integration, pages
that are eligible for revenue sharing receive at least 100,000 daily
page views. See http://code.google.com/apis/adsense/revenuesharing.html#whichusers
for more info.

As for www.tixik.com specifically, I'll follow up via email.

Best,

Ryan
