I just wanted to confirm that there is no way to access this
functionality through the API. If that is indeed the case, please
consider this a feature request. :)

Even if the answer is no, can I get a yes/no, so I can confirm that it
isn't possible.

Also, even if setting it weren't possible, it'd be nice for there to
be a flag we could check, or a query, to see what channels are
available for site buy.

Thanks,
Tim

Tim,

You can't created targetable channels through the API. As a result,
the answer is that, any channel you create in the API won't be
targetable, so a query to check the channel status here is pretty
moot. Its true that your publisher could go into the AdSense interface
and make the channel targetable, but its somewhat unlikely they'd do
this.

All that being said, this seems like a useful feature, so we'll look
at the feasibility of supporting it.

Cheers,

Actually - that was our hoped for work-around, because we do have
clients that want to do just that, or something similar. And also,
since we can access channels that were created in the interface in the
place....

Cool, that's what I was wondering. That's enough for my question to
be answered at least.

Thanks,
Tim
