Thanks for posting the link about Gmail's group chat feature! I just
wanted to chime in on the thread about the group chat feature that's
available in the Google Talk Gadget as well. When chatting with pals
on the web-based Google Talk Gadget, you can add friends to the
conversation and chat as a group, just like you can in Gmail. Here's a
link to our Help Center article about this feature:

It wont work because the guys at Google have been sleeping for more
than 2 years and they have no idea what they are doing about Google
Talk... They are randomly releasing different versions on different
platforms for GTalk and hoping that atleast one will hit the mark. The
group chat feature will work only the gadget. I really fail to
understand as to how can a company like Google cannot understand what
people have been crying hoarse for about for 2 years!!!!

I see no Group Chat feature in the current version of Google Talk.
You have to use the web integrated version (Goggle Gadget) to use the
group function. I'm running Vista with IE 7. What is confusing is
that there "Help files" claim it can be done but obviously that has
changed so updating the features of Google Talk would go a long way
tech team.

I can only use the downloaded Google Talk at work - they have blocked
both the gadget and the in-gmail chat. Please, if anyone from Google
sees this - add the group chat feature to Google Talk!!!
