We are very much thankful to all of you for taking pioneering
initiative in building the successful model of Independent Living (IL)
for the persons with disabilities in India. This is our prime step to
organize the Continuing Rehabilitation Education (CRE) programme with
the collaboration of Rehabilitation Council of India at Manovikas.
Mrs. Poonam Natrajan, Chairperson, National Trust has taken an
outstanding interest in the important issue of Independent Living and
encouraged to explore the IL concept in our country at large.

We are still receiving the registration application from the various
rehabilitation professionals, educators for participation in this
programme. If you have not submitted your registration application,

We are also in process to organize a National level seminar/symposium
on the Independent Living with the collaboration of the National Trust
and other agencies and hoping the best opportunity for presenting the
papers on Independent Living from this CRE.
