Hi Everyone!

Tomorrow AUUF welcomes the Rev. Jeffrey Merkel coming to us from his volunteer work with the UU Fellowship in Fairbanks!

Jeffrey was a Lutheran minister for 20 years after graduating from Yale Divinity School.  He was a pastor in Palmer, and in Fairbanks, and has now made the decision to become a Unitarian Universalist minister!  He is currently in the process of getting his UU credentials.

His topic is "Reaching Out After Shutting Down" and he's told us that the 10:45 service will build on the Forum presentation, so it might be a good day to make it a double header!

After the 10:45 service, come meet Rev. Merkel  in the upstairs Social Room and enjoy the soup and goodies provided by AUUF members!

Also, we will be inviting visitors and guests to come learn about AUUF at the spring Explorer's Luncheon at 12:15 in the downstairs social room!

And don't forget to bring your recyclables!

At the 9am Forum we are privelaged to welcome the Rev. Richard Gay for his annual Easter Sunday visit!  His topic will be: The Week That Was and Is.

At the 10:45 Service, the Rev. Beatrice Hitchcock will be our Easter Service Leader, and our speaker will be Sheila Selkregg, a current member of the Anchorage Assembly talking about her own experiences in "The Spiritual Bloom of a Unitarian Child".

Both speakers are just wonderful.  We hope you can join us for a Sunday of spiritual renewal.  What a great way to welcome Spring!
