ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

The Rev. Richard Gay is a minister emeritus of AUUF.

Sheila Selkregg is a long-time community activist and current member of
the Anchorage Assembly.

Sherry Simpson teaches creative writing at the University of Alaska and
the Ranier Writing Workshop in Tacoma, WA. Her latest book is The
Accidental Adventurer: Wayfinding in Alaska.

Bill Pelke is president of the Journey of Hope, and a full-time
activist in opposition to the death penalty.
