It was brought to my attention last night that Amazon.com has a book for sale on their site that is a "how to" book on pit bull fighting!! It is not merely a history of the dog men, or any kind of neutral informative book... it describes how to breed, select, and train dogs for fighting! This is not an underground website, this is AMAZON.COM!

Please email customer service at Amazon.com and tell them that this is UNACCEPTABLE!!! Dog fighting is a CRIME! A HORRIBLE CRIME! And this is not the type of information we need readily available. Amazon.com is a popular site, and with the holidays coming, I think a BOYCOTT of Amazon.com is in order until they pull this book. They also have "how to" books on cockfighting!
PLEASE EMAIL AMAZON.COM AND TELL THEM THAT ANIMAL LOVERS EVERYWHERE WILL NOT BUY FROM THEM WHILE THESE BOOKS ARE BEGIN SOLD!!! In addition, PLEASE CROSSPOST this to all of your contacts and ask them to do the same!!!
Below is a response from Amazon customer service about the book. I originally thought perhaps this was being sold by an affiliate and they were unaware of it. NO! They are aware AND they DEFEND offering the book.

Dog lovers everywhere managed to get Verizon to pull their ad... now we need to work together to STOP the selling of these books from such a popular, well visited site!
