Welcome to the Tobacco Cessation Initiative (TCI) Forum!  The American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA) is now recognized as a leader in the tobacco cessation field.  ADHA received an unprecedented 4 full years of funding from the Smoking Cessation Leadership Center (SCLC) and even though the grant period is at an end, ADHA is committed to maintaining tobacco cessation intervention as a priority.  To that end, the goal of this forum is to facilitate communication among the TCI liaisons, the ADHA Tobacco Cessation Advisory Committee,  the SCLC and others interested in tobacco cessation.  The ADHA's Ask. Advise. Refer. Program provides dental hygienists with a unique opportunity to not only systematically intervene with tobacco users but offers a sustainable model.  In order to maintain this most important initiative, we appreciate and encourage your input!  Thank you for your vision, support, and expertise!
