Hi everyone,
Way back in March and April, I conducted a survey of libraries with and without bookmobiles to see what kinds of outreach services they provided in certain categories. The purpose of the survey was to see what is being done out in the world, get ideas about what I could try in my own district, and connect with people who are doing new, interesting, and innovative things.
I've compiled the survey results with some commentary into one document, attached to this email. I'm sending it out to all the people who indicated they would like to recieve the results, as well as the ABOS Outreach google group. From the comments I chose a selection that provided a good range of responses, but didn't include ones that said things like "I would like to get the results," etc.
This information will be part of what I'll be leading a session about at the upcoming ABOS conference - so if you're attending, and you'd like to talk about these results, or about bookmobile and outreach innovations in general, please attend! Conversely, if there are other sessions that you are really wanting to attend, and you can't make it to mine, or you are not attending the conference, well here is a big chunk of what I'll be talking about that you can look through at your liesure.

Hi Gail - it should be posted here so that you can download it directly. I will also send you a copy, just in case, too. If you can't download it from the google group, let me know, and I'll post it to scribd or someplace and share the link.
