Hey AACFers!

I hope that you are all having an awesome summer and are being blessed beyond your imagination! :D We are so excited for this upcoming year and cannot wait to see what God has in store for us! Lots of us have been experiencing God this summer, and it will be great to hear your stories! Although summer hasn't ended yet, we have a few events planned before school...

freshmen move in We will be helping freshman move into dorms this year
and need all the help we can get! This is a great opportunity to reach out to freshmen and show God's love through AACF. It's also a great way to bond with other fellowships : ) We'll be moving saturday -sunday (9/13- 9/14) If your are available to help please contact Tif

SLO bound/ block party Everyone returning to SLO, come and help out!!Both SLO bound (9/16)  and block party (9/19) are great opportunities to let freshman know about AACF. You can be a great help by passing out fliers, keychains, and making conversation with freshmen : )
  • TUES (9/16) SLO bound we will meet at 9am at duplex A for preplanning. 11am-5pm SLO bound
  • FRI (9/19) Block party we will meet at 1pm at duplex A for preplanning. 3pm - 7pm Block Party
(you are welcome to sign up for  specific 1 hr time slots if you cannot make all day.) If you are availabe to help please contact Tif

host speaker dinner Throughout the year we will be inviting several guest speakers to come to AACF. We love having a few AACF members have dinner with them before fellowship. It is a great way to spend one-on-one time with the pastors and soak in their wisdom! If you'd like extra blessing and are willing to host/cook for a speaker dinner, please email James

women/men's small group leaders Small groups will be starting up again and we are looking for new leaders! Small groups are an awesome time of bonding and is a very fruitful experience. Everyone, past leaders or brand new leaders, is welcome to sign up! There is no experience needed, and we will prepare you before the year begins. If you interested please contact Jenn for womens, and Sam for mens.

first AACF meetings will NOT be in UU220.  the first three meetings ( 9/26, 10/2, 10/10 ) will be held in RM53-215. please make note of this

this year's theme is...  after long discussions, intense prayers, and some tears.. our yearly theme has finally been decided:
BY FAITH
"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." Galatians 2:20 As Christians, our old lives have been crucified and now Christ lives in us! Everyday we strive to live by faith in Jesus Christ, his resurrection and power. Everything must be done in faith, even though we often lost sight of this. During the year we will learn how to build faith in different areas of our lives. new t-shirts will be coming soon!

leadership team here is a reminder of who your leaders are this year! please feel free to contact them at any time

Hello again!

In the last email, we forgot to include our worship ministry!

If you are intested in being a part of the worship team or want to contact the head honcho... you can talk to our very own Daniel Kim!

Have a blessed day!
