Saturday, March 31 – Phyllis Tranquillo, Troy Patterson, Jane & Richard Rutledge, Mike Donnelly, Roz Ayers, Megan Zettlemoyer, Mike Zettlemoyer, Stephanie Hinish and Ken Kulakowsky enjoyed a full day creative letterpress workshop at Lead Graffiti studio under the direction of Ray Nichols, Jill Cypher, and Tray Nichols.
Wednesday, April 4 – Adam DelMarcello, Rich Rutledge, Mike Donnelly, and ken Kulakowsky spent 5 hours painting our new workshop area at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology.
Tuesday, April 10 – Club members will be meeting at 10am in the Jasper Yeates House to finish packing for the move to Stevens. The Yeates House is located at 24 South Queen Street next to the Lancaster Newspaper’s Newseum. You will need to enter the Yeates House by the side entrance in the alley that runs behind the Pressroom. Free parking is available in the Central Parking garage.
Saturday, April 14 – Today we begin moving out of the Heritage Center Museum and into our new location. We will be meeting at Valentino’s Café at 128 Ryder Street at 8:30 am for breakfast. We plan on arriving at the Heritage Center at 10am when the visitor center opens.
Wednesday, April 25 – The .918 Club is holding a screening of “Linotype: The Film” www.linotypefilm.com. You can get information on how to order tickets at www.Muticketsonline.com. After the film, Brandon Goodwin, the Director of Photography and editor of the film will hold a Q&A forum. We also will be holding a reception for Brandon in the main hall of the Quilt & Textile Museum. Please spread the word to anybody you know who might be interested in the film.
