If you plan on joining us for breakfast on Saturday, April 14, please let Mike Donnelly, pica...@verizon.net, know so he can reserve a table for us.

Saturday, March 31 – Phyllis Tranquillo, Troy Patterson, Jane & Richard Rutledge, Mike Donnelly, Roz Ayers, Megan Zettlemoyer, Mike Zettlemoyer, Stephanie Hinish and Ken Kulakowsky enjoyed a full day creative letterpress workshop at Lead Graffiti studio under the direction of Ray Nichols, Jill Cypher, and Tray Nichols.

Wednesday, April 4 – Adam DelMarcello, Rich Rutledge, Mike Donnelly, and Ken Kulakowsky spent 5 hours painting our new workshop area at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology.

Tuesday, April 10 – Clair Denlinger, Bob Hinkle, Rich Rutledge, Norm Tomlinson, and Ken Kulakowsky met at the Jasper Yeates House to finish packing for the move to Stevens. Everything that will not be needed for the AIGA and BSA merit badge workshops was wrapped and placed on pallets ready to move.

Saturday, April 14 – Today we begin moving out of the Heritage Center Museum and into our new location. We will be meeting at Valentino’s Café at 128 Ryder Street at 8:30 am for breakfast. We plan on arriving at the Heritage Center at 10am when the visitor center opens.

Wednesday, April 25 – The .918 Club is holding a screening of “Linotype: The Film” www.linotypefilm.com. You can get information on how to order tickets at www.Muticketsonline.com. After the film, Brandon Goodwin, the Director of Photography and editor of the film will hold a Q&A forum. We also will be holding a reception for Brandon in the main hall of the Quilt & Textile Museum. Please spread the word to anybody you know who might be interested in the film. Attached is a pdf poster you can use to promote this film.

Thursday, April 26 – Session #4 of the AIGA Letterpress Workshop will take place in the Jasper Yeates House at 24 South Queen Street from 7 to 9pm.

Monday, April 30 – The first of three Boy Scout Graphic Arts merit badge workshops will be held in the Jasper Yeates House at 24 South Queen Street from 6 to 8:30pm.

Thanks for your help in keeping the craft alive.

Ken
