  I built the EV with the 914 AC kit from Electro.  They provided the adapter plate and motor mount:

cool, that helps a ton. i have read your blog a ton of times and
somehow missed those.  its cool you had help. im at this alone and
this is my 1st EV conversion.

which adapter plate did you use? and is it like an L for the engine
mount bar? i am using a GE motor and does not have a side mount for
anything.
