The latest medical research findings on the health impact of the 9/11disaster support previous findings that “thousands of exposed individuals continue to suffer from WTC-related mental and physical conditions, and some of these conditions are likely to be chronic,” according to the 2009 Annual Report on 9/11 Health.

 

The new report (available here) was released by the World Trade Center Medical Working Group, a 16-member panel appointed by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg in June 2007 to review the published medical findings on the effects of WTC exposure and publish an annual report.
