Affiliate Program

Hi,

I have some questions about the advertised 'affiliate program' of
7digital.
I understand that, as a free API user, I will receive commissions to
every sale that contains my 'partner' id in the url of the product (be
it track, release or artist).

1. How are these comissions handled back to me? How is the payment
done?
2. Is there any sort of web reporting tool for us free users? I saw in
the '7digital API Features' this: "Web Reports: web interface with the
latest stats of all purchases made through your API account" for free
API users. Where is this 'Web Report' tool? Delving in the site a
little bit, I found 'access.7digital.com', I tried to log in there but
I'm receiving 'Unauthorised Access'. I don't know if this is the
correct URL, if I should have authorization to access it, or if I'm
completely wrong :)
3. Is there any document, wiki, anything online that describes in
detail how the affiliate program works? I searched throughout the site
and couldn't find anything.

Hi,

1) typically commissions are paid out quarterly via a direct bank
transfer. Please note that we require a minimum of £100 (or other
currency equivalent) on your account in order to transfer the funds.
These do accumulate over time so even if it would take you a year to
reach this limit you won't loose any of your commissions earned.
2) yes we have a web reporting tool available for free users as well
though access to this tool is not granted automatically with your API
key. Hence the "unauthorised access" error. We'll be happy to provide
you with access but before doing so we are required to review your
site or application to make sure it conforms with the 7digital Public

3) indeed, we lack more detailed information on our affiliate
programme, thanks for your feedback. We'll do our best to add this
information to the developer site in the near future
