Ideas For December 8th Talks

1) Chris Rhoden - Presenting lightweight rails options for web applications using Sinatra/Sammy.

I was also thinking that Rail 3 might be well along by then I'd be interested in putting together a talk on the incredible changes going on underneath and how you might take a 2.3.4 app to 3.0.

1) Chris Rhoden - Presenting lightweight rails options for web applications using Sinatra/Sammy.

To clarify, Sinatra is not really related to Rails except insofar as you can create web apps with it. I should say that since Rack became the bare metal underneath Rails, you have been able to put separate Rack apps inside of your Rails apps, which is pretty neat. I think a better title for this talk would be "Lightweight Rack Apps using the Sinatra library." And Sammy is just neat, and tangentially related, and I would love to talk about it.

Agreed... Guess I should have said "a lightweight ruby option as compared to rails" for web app. Changing now.
