The ANC 6C/6A Joint Vacant Property Taskforce was formed by Alan Kimber, Commissioner for ANC 6C05 in order to coordinate efforts with Councilmember Wells and DCRA to address vacant and abandoned buildings along H Street NE and in the surrounding neighborhoods of Capitol Hill and Near Northeast.

I will kick this off with a property at 1362 H. The rear is unfenced, and this is a frequent source of all kinds of dumping. The building is abandoned. I have filed 3 service request on this property. The city has cleaned the property a few times and I believe the owner has been fined.
