Hello 505 teams,

 

We are trying to use an online registration system for this year’s 505 and A-Cat Midwinters, to be held in Fort Desoto in February.  It is not perfect and you have to fill out lots of info, which I get tired of also.  But the benefit is that Lin, Ben and I do not have to chase people around on the beach to collect entry data and funds, and it enables us to plan a little better.  So humor us here and use the system and feel free to give us feedback.  There is a secure way to prepay online with a credit card, and we strongly encourage you to use it.

 

Some tips:

  • Initially you sign up one member of the team, and then you can invite your teammate.  If you are sailing a 505, please do this as we will then have the crew’s name.
  • The photo page only works with Foxfire, not IE7. 
  • If you are going to mail a check for the entry fee, the system seems to want a check number and name on the check, and won’t let you proceed without some info entered there.  It is what it is, and I can’t change that!  Use the credit card method if you can.
  • The NOR is posted, also with last years scores and a pretty complete winner history.
  • If you want to crew or helm, there is a notice board sort of thing where you can post stuff.
