I use a highlighter to "cross off" stuff from my lists so I can still read them (I think the idea has been discussed here before). Has anyone has seen a grey highlighter? It would fit the use better than the blue one I use.

I do this as well. The best markers for this purpose IMHO are prismacolour markers in various shades of cool grey. they are translucent enough for that "highlighter" effect, but a nice solid grey to easily see that you've done that thing already.
I'd go w/ a 40% grey to start off with, and see if you like it. They make them at every 10% mark, i think.

Hi there,
I use more or less the same idea but without the markers: in front of each item I place a big A (for action). Each time I finish an action I just put a big cross over the A. I don't have to use a marker because the markers never are around when they should. Maybe this can inspire you.
