When I print from OS X -- from text editors, email apps, and other
programs, I'm finding that the size of the printed font tends to be
waaay bigger than what I'm seeing on my 15" PowerBook. This, as opposed
to the PC, where screen fonts tend to print out in the same size.
Anyone else having this problem?
Hopefully I'm not alone in the universe on this one.
Thanks,
Anthony
I had this problem when I first switched to the Mac. The thing to
remember is that the printer will print whatever font size you've
chosen for the text. Most likely, you've set the default font too large
so that you can see the text on-screen. Let's say we're working in
TextEdit. Set the font size to whatever size you want it to print at
(most people like 12 point). Then set the Zoom to whatever size looks
best to you (look at the lower right-hand corner of TextEdit's window
-- see the little thing that says 100%, set it to something higher,
like 128%).
In Microsoft products, use the View.. Zoom... command to achieve the
same result.
