Connect - ReConnect

In March 2008 Vic Earth, a group of Victoria University students
interested in social and environmental sustainability, held the
inaugural Connect event. This was a chance for campus-based social
and environmental groups to connect with the wider Wellington
community of organisations and individuals working in the context of
sustainable development and change. A second event was held in May 2008

hosted by Transition Towns that focussed on ideas for World Environment Day

I'm sure everyone involved will agree that the Connect events were a great success
- thanks heaps to Vic Earth and Transition Towns for organising them and to everyone who
participated.

To build on the momentum that the events generated, we at 42collective
thought it would be great to host a discussion forum. This can be
used by all the groups involved - to stay in touch, discuss ideas,
motivate one another and most of all to build on the enormous pool of
energy, skills and and resources that we all share...
