I'm trying to use Kopete as a client to connect to GTalk. It should be
simple, but it isn't so. Here's what goes:

1- I set all configurations as I've been instructed to. My username:
[email address] (my Google Account username, the same I
use on the GTalk Gadget)
2- As server, I use talk.google.com. Simple like that.
3- As port, I use either 5223 or 5222(see below for clarification)

But when I get it to connect, two things may happen:
- If port is 5222: error message "There was a Transport Layer Security
(TLS) error: Failed to establish a secure connection."
- If port is 5223: even stranger error message: "There was a
negotiation error: Unknown host."

Other ports also don't work. I've also tried to use
"talkgadget.google.com" as server, but it gets me an error message
after 60 seconds trying to connect.

Anyone out there can help me find a solution?
