to Map Your World - 3D Modeling for Google Earth & Maps
Hi there 3dwarehouse-Team,
I’m quite new to 3D-modelling. I started when I discovered the new
building maker tool and produced about 200+ buildings since then. Some
of them are quite fine, others are as poor as the imagery provided for
painting or the textures provided by the picture servers. It’s really
fun to use your cool-tool.
But there is one thing I really would like to see in the 3dwarehouse –
a feature like a “model-manager”. It could be a tool like a
spreadsheet in which you can easily view and edit the status,
settings, descriptions and all the other fields of your own models.
Filters and sorting capabilities would also be nice to have.
What do you think? Will there be such a feature in the near future?
Thanks in advance and greets from
daskleine

Hi daskleine. This is a good idea. Even with only a few models it
would be very useful to be able to make updates in a tabular way. For
example, updating the tags of several models.

How about a facility for export/import of 3D Warehouse data to a
Google Docs spreadsheet?

Thomas.
