Create and position model building in Sketchup.
Export the model into local kmz file and test in GoogleEarth -
position on the ground, lat, long., ok.
No further edits - upload immediately to Warehouse from Sketchup.
After processing, the review staff says that it is sunken below the
surface.
When I download the kmz and check, it is true, because the
<altitudeMode>relativeToGround in <Model> tag in doc.kml is always
changed to relativeToSeaFloor without any further compensation (every
other data are identical to those in local kmz export).
When I change it back manually, model is placed properly.
The model in question - St. Bartholomew's Cathedral - can be found
here:

Does anybody have similar experience?
With Regards
Ivan K.
It looks to me like the KMZ currently in the warehouse is
<altitudeMode>absolute (not relativeToSeaFloor). It would actually
surprise me somewhat if you managed to get the warehouse KMZ generator
to produce a model that was relativeToSeaFloor; I'm pretty sure that's
not supported yet. In any event, the fix is the same; remove the
model's current georeference (Window->Model Info->Location and uncheck
the "Use Georeferencing" box) and re-georeference it using Get Current
View.
Good luck,
Allison
