hi,

I do not understand why, but we have more models which can be not
accepted.
They are fully textured even with real photos or a good textures, but
we get the "incompleted texturing" or "model incomplet" review.

please, help me, why they are not acceptable:

Of course, i checked the "3D Buildings Layer Model Feedback Page", but
i can not find the real reason. In my view, these models are
correct, ... or maybe not?

Hi,

Your models are indeed lovely; however, they make use of a KML feature
that our processing can't handle yet. If you remove the <ResourceMap>
section of the KML file and instead place the images in their correct
relative location in the KMZ file, your models should go through just
fine.

Dear Allison,

Thank you for the quick reply and for the help.
I found the <ResourceMap> tag in my KMZs, i will try to change
them...

Ha. Another Hungarian. Welcome to the Groups, sg.

Hope Allison's suggestion will help. Otherwise, if you REALLY want to
make sure there's no untextured face in the model (even a tiny one
hidden somewhere not visible at all), after modelling everything and
texturing correctly, group the whole model and paint the group with
some indeifferent, not striking colour or texture. Then explode the
model and the material applied to the group will be pplied to the (so
far) not textured faces.

Hope you don't mind me, Allison, giving someone "tips" like this. ;-)

Hi Gai,

Tips are totally encouraged! Please keep it up. :)

Hi sg,

If you haven't tackled editing your models yet, you might hold off for
a bit; I looked at the ResourceMap thing and thought to myself, "it's
kind of stupid that this doesn't work". I fixed it. It will take a
little bit for the fix to propagate; if you're impatient, you can
upload your model again and it will immediately get fixed and
reconsidered for review. Otherwise it will take a little while for
the changes to take effect. Editing your models won't hurt, though,
so if you've done it already there's no harm. :)

Kedves Gai (Csaba),

Ha nem gond tegeződjünk... :-)
Köszönöm, az elismerést, mitagadás jól esik... ;-)

megnéztem a "kontaktokat" is a honlapotokon :-)

Közben írtam ide választ (még 7-én, a tiédre).

Nos? ;-)
