Dear sir,

I cannot get connection through the modem multiplayer mode in need for
speed II SE, both my friend and I are using the U.S. Robotics
Sportster 56K Voice Faxmodem. However, we have connect successfully
for the game WarCraft II. Can anyone help me?

Sure, try adding this to your init string.

S32=34
This will disable X2 as you only need a 9600 baud connection to play the
game.
