I. CONCLAVE
In case you missed my last email, Conclave has been rescheduled to February
25th, 2012. All
Presidents have also been notified in case any attendees cannot make it and
have been given specific instructions for substituting
attendees. Once again, we are sorry for all the confusion and inconvenience
this may cause.
II. DIVISION CONTESTS
Because Conclave has been rescheduled we also have a new deadline for Division
Judging for District Awards! All applications are now due on February 22. I hope this gives your clubs the
motivation to apply for more awards!
III. DISTRICT OFFICER CTC
The District Officer
Candidate Training Conference is for individuals that seeking a position as an
Executive Officer (Governor, Secretary, Treasurer, Tech Editor) of CNH District
and for those seeking an endorsement to run for an International position
(President, Vice President, Trustee).
This is a reminder that members planning on attending the District Officer CTC on February 26th must complete BOTH parts of the CTC registration process. Check out the details for registration and the steps to run: http://cnhkeyclub.org/officers/running-for-office.
IV. DCON: BEElieve – the Magic of Service
What: Cali-Nev-Ha District Convention
When: Friday, April 13, 2012 - Sunday, April 15, 2012
Where: Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa Clara, CA
Cost: Early Bird Registration - $160.00 / Late Registration - $200.00
Registration Deadline: Early Bird - March 2nd / Late - March 23rd
This year you will be registering online for both convention and hotel. Click HERE for online registration and click HERE for hotel registration. We will be giving a presentation during Conclave regarding District Convention registration. Please keep in mind that DCON online registration and checks for early bird registration are due on March 2nd, 2012.
Even though registration is online, there are still a few things that you need to send to the Kiwanis District Office including the Code of Conduct for all members attending, Convention Registration, and the Adult Background Check. These forms must be received by 03/02/12 or late fees apply. Keep track of all the dates and deadlines!
V. DCON SERVICE EXPO
If
your club has a fantastic service project or fundraising opportunity you can
share it at DCON! I have attached a flyer that includes on all the necessary
information on how to register for the expo.
