C. Division Judging
I mentioned (above) that at Conclave there will be division judging. For all of you giving me quizzical looks right now, let me explain.
On the division judging level, there are 5 awards available for application:
  • Member of the Year
  • Club of the Year
  • Most Improved of the Year
  • Faculty Advisor of the Year (use Advisor_1112 attachment)
  • Kiwanis Advisor of the Year (use Advisor_1112 attachment)
If you think you or your club deserves to be recognized,  I would highly recommend applying for the above awards. I have attached all of the forms to this email so you can apply! You can also find them online on the CNH Cyberkey or if you click HERE.

We will also need people to JUDGE these applications! We will be judging these applications during Conclave and you get to be a part of the recognition process for our division! This leadership opportunity is great for all of you interested in running for positions, and I would love for you to be a part of the division judging committee! If you are interested just simply let me know!

D. OTHER AWARDS!

The Key Club term began with the conclusion of District Convention in April 2011. Nearly a year of service, a year of commitment, a year of hard work—it has been a year of full of achievements. After a term of successful endeavors, comes the recognition season. There are a number of methods to be acknowledged for all of your accomplishments. Whether you are a member with unending dedication, showing up to every single service project, or an officer with impeccable leadership skills, or even an advisor who has chaperoned all the fundraisers—there is an award for you.

Contest Applications can be found at:http://cnhkeyclub.org/recognition/contest-applications

MR Handbook – The MR Handbook can be found on the CNH Website (Recognition tab, Resources headline) or through this link: http://cnhkeyclub.org/downloads/Recognition/resources/MR%20Handbook%202011.pdf.

Please refer your officers to this handbook and encourage them to tell their members. The MR handbook was created to lead them through the process of each contest application.

Why start now? – We all know what happens when a deadline approaches; many start their task the day before, the week before if they have more time on their hands. MR wants everyone to be aware of the application months beforehand so they can have an understanding of how much time each application will take to complete. Some applications are short; but distinguished applications may take a couple weeks! Please encourage everyone to begin their distinguished applications now before they find themselves in a position where they can’t find the time to apply!
