Cunat International Scholarship Application for Key Club While serving as Governor of the Illinois‐Eastern Iowa District in 1992‐1993, Brian and Miki Cunat
established the Cunat International Scholarship to recognize and support Kiwanis‐family members who were setting out to make a difference in people’s lives as they worked their way through school. The Cunats have been believers in setting goals, staying the course, and accomplishing their goals. They believe life goals should be not only self serving, but include the concept of helping others and making the world a better place for all. While serving as Kiwanis International President during the 2001‐2002 year, Brian and Miki Cunat expanded the scholarship program to include other parts of the world. Their love for children and young adults, and their beliefs that our future is in their hands motivates them to fund these scholarships. Together we can “Build Today for Tomorrow’s Dreams.” The Cunat International Scholarship will provide one US$2,500 scholarship for a college‐bound Key Club International member.
How to apply?
- Complete the form. It is easy to fill out.
- Attach one short 200-word response describing how your studies will help you achieve your goals, while benefiting the lives of others.
- Attach two (2) letters of reference originally signed and dated, each no more than two (2) pages in length, that describe how you are beginning this “life to benefit others.” The letters should be from a Kiwanis or faculty advisor to your Key Club and a fellow Key Club member. It is so cool that a fellow Key Clubber can contribute to your chance to receive this recognition!
Please share this great opportunity with all of the Key Club graduating seniors you know. During these challenging times, it is great to know that the Kiwanis Family is trying to help our "family" members reach their goals!
