Hi all,

There are 2 different sets of documentation for integrating with
google for outgoing and incoming calls.......I am wondering which to
use......the google voice documentation or the google talk
documentation?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

We have two sets of this documentation, one for someone who wants to configure it in FreeSWITCH directly and one for someone who wants to configure it in blue.box. Either will work, but I suggest using this one:
http://wiki.2600hz.com/display/bluebox/Integrating+with+Google+Voice+%28with+blue.box%29

The other link, for those wondering can be found here: http://wiki.2600hz.com/display/bluebox/Integrating+with+Google+Voice+%28without+blue.box%29

I've renamed the wiki articles to prevent confusion in the future. Hope that helps :)

Hi Jon......thanks for the info.......I have configured per the first link........one part that confused me was the last entry

"IMPORTANT: Once you save your entry, you need to go into Connectivity menu, then NumberManager submenu, and save the number that is linked to your Gtalk."

The number manager in my version of Blue Box is in routing section and I am worried that I configured that step incorrectly.

Could you provide brief instruction on appropriate setup with a sip device

My scenario is

Linksys Pap2t <--------->BlueBox(Freeswitch)<-------------->Google Voice for incoming and outgoing

Thanks so much Jon!

I have tried setting up per instructions but with no luck....I am going to try starting again from scratch....I believe I set up the association between the client and the numbermanager wrong...............could you provide a screenshot of this step......

IMPORTANT: Once you save your entry, you need to go into Connectivity menu, then NumberManager submenu, and save the number that is linked to your Gtalk.
