RF Broadcast People don't secure things like IT Broadcast people -
Matthew Stedman
Broadcasters of subscription TV have been compelled to secure their
content by the Hollywood Studios for a number of years with a number
of the approaches used only recently becoming mainstream for more
general PC based devices. Over the Top Internet based content delivery
whilst still in its early stages has resulted in studios pushing for
more practical and enforceable security measures upon existing
delivery models such as closed cable and satellite broadcasts. I will
discuss what's changing and how it affects the security of content in
our Australian subscription TV industry using a few recent project use
case as examples.
