Prior to 1969- Sloane is in the Army Corps of Engineers. They had him
study a Rambaldi manuscript with the Mueller Device transformer coil
on it.
1969- Sloane's first White House CIA briefing. He had to have come to
CIA before then to be briefing the President (LBJ; Viet Nam War) on
intelligence matters.
1970 (approximately)- Sloane begins collection Rambaldi machines.
Sloane clone, working from Sloane's memories, states at the end of S4
(2005) that he has been collecting Rambaldi prototype or replica
devices for 35 years.
- Jack recruited to CIA (source?)
- Irina recruited by KGB at age 18. She was to go to US and get
involved with a CIA agent. Jack (already a ranking officer) was only
one of the agents under consideration for her to seduce. Gerard Cuvee
and Alexander Kasinow were her superiors. FBI counter intelligence
officer Caulder (who worked for KGB starting in 1973) was her handler
or partner.
1971- Jack and Sloane meet at CIA and become friends. Sloane is Jack's
boss and oversees his work on Project Christmas. Syd said that Sloane
was friends with her parents years before she was born, so Jack and
Irina must have met between 1970 and 1972. Before she faked her death
she had been going through his briefcase and listening to his phone
calls for 10 years.
1972- Prophet 5 project begins when a private company hires "Bill
Vaughn"(a brilliant mathematician)and others to decode a book written
in the 15th century. Once the book is deciphered members of the team
start "dieing off." After at least 2 years our mathematician changes
his name to Bill Vaughn and takes his 18 month old son to a different
life, and eventually joins the CIA. Vaughn would have to have been
born no sooner than the middle of 1972.
1972-1973 (approximately)- Emily and Arvin Sloane meet and/or marry.
In season 3 Emily Sloane tells Syd that Arvin has been her life for 30
years.
1974- Approximate year the organization Gordon Dean works for is
formed.

1974- (According to Conrad at the end of S3- 2004) Conrad told Sloane
something 30 years ago (1974)about Rambaldi that set him on his quest
and eventually led him to abandon the CIA and lose everything dear to
him.

could make it 1976 or 1978) - Jacquelyn born.
- Elena Derevko has a falling out with her sister Irina and disappears
(Jack and Sloane tell Syd this in S4, that it was about 30 years ago).
If this is so, Elena would not have been Sentinel after this time.
1974, April 17- Sydney born. The date that Jack Bristow's S.A.B.47
Project began.
1975- Prophet 5 begins searching for Horizon.
1979- B. Vaughn is supposedly killed by Irina. This means BV worked
for CIA for 5 years at the most.

1981- Irina fakes her death
- Nadia is born and immediately taken from Irina. (Did Bill Vaughn
kidnap her then and take her to Elena? Did it happen several years
later? Did it happen at all? If not, how did she end up with Elena in
Argentina?)
- 1981-1983- Irina is put into a Soviet prison for suspected
traitors.
1983- Irina escapes from that prison (S2/E9 is 19 years since she
escaped).
1981, or 1983, or 1984, or 1986 (depending on several timeline and
dialog factors)- Dr. DiSantis either undergoes the procedure or is put
into the box, or both.
1982-1989- Alan Christophe (who later became a founding member of the
Alliance) ran counter-intelligence at Langley. He retired from CIA in

1989 or 1992-1993- Dixon is recruited to SD-6 (according to time frame
Dixon gives Syd. According to Jack at the end of S3, he recruited
Dixon "almost a dozen years ago." )
1991- Jack is recruited by SD-6, and the Alliance is formed, with Jack
as a member.(According to Jack in 2001, "about a decade ago." Could be
as early as late 1980's then).(1991 is also a number located in one of
Rambaldi's hand written notes in a CIA file, under a picture of <0>.)
1996-1997- Marshall begins working for SD-6.
1999- Renee and Vaughn begin working together to hunt down Prophet 5.
2001- Oscar Mueller of Mueller Device/Rambaldi big red ball fame, is
killed by an ambulance while riding a moped (S1/E1). The picture
showed him to be approximately 30's-40's with longish hair (how
current was the picture, given that he started Prophet 5 project in
1972?).
2001- 2002-Syd tells Danny she is CIA. SD-6 mind-conditioned assassin
Martin Sheppard kills Danny on Sloane's order and later, after killing
an FTL agent, hides out in a K-Directorate mental asylum. Because of
Danny's murder Syd defects to CIA and becomes a double agent. She
meets Vaughn and finds out her father is also a CIA double agent
inside SD-6. Syd finds out that her mother, Irina, was KGB and is said
to have murdered several CIA agents, including Vaughn's father.
2002-2003- Irina turns herself into CIA. Sark defects to SD-6. Sloane
engineers the fall of SD-6 and the Alliance, but he lets Alliance
psych guy McCullough escape, saying in S4 that he owed him a favor.
Irina escapes with Sloane and Sark's help. Allison kills Francie and
replaces her, Dixon kills Emily, Sloane has Allison kill Dixon's wife.
Sloane confronts Conrad and gets the catastrophic revelations from
Rambaldi from Conrad. Sometime after this Sloane's memories had to
have been down loaded by McCullough. In S4 the Sloane Clone knew that
he, Arvin Sloane, had Dixon's wife killed. That means it had to have
been done after that event- well after SD-6 was brought down. It was
after Dixon killed Emily Sloane in the raid on Sloane in Italy. I
think it was right before he made his deal with the CIA and became the
head of OmniFam so, as I've theorized before, he could have a clone of
himself doing Rambaldi work while he appeared to be out of the
business.
(-Syd's missing 2 years throws the timeline off here, though some say
that if you subtract all the months that Alias has been off the air
during the 5 seasons that would make up for the time difference-)
2003-2004- Sloane ( supposedly for 3 years, but here we have the 2
year glitch where Sydney is missing, so we don't know the exact years)
is using Omnifam to locate the Passenger and infect the world's water
supply with Rambaldi formula in an attempt to mutate the earth's
population into a non-violent one. He does not have the Rambaldi
orchid, however, and his attempt fails. No one at CIA knows what
Sloane has done, but Jack finds out by S4. Vaughn has married Lauren,
who is a double agent for The Covenant. Syd finds out what happened
during her missing 2 years. Lauren is discovered and Vaughn tries to
kill her. He fails at first, but succeeds in the last episode. Jack
helps Sloane fake his execution. Syd finds out she has a sister, The
Passenger. Sloane, Jack and Syd locate Nadia. Syd, based on something
Lauren tried to tell her, discovers the S.A.B.47 Project documents and
discovers that Jack killed Irina. Sloane and Nadia search for
Rambaldi's Sphere of Life, which Sloane said held Rambaldi's
consciousness. Lazlo Drake, who has the manual for assembling
Rambaldi's device, says that meeting Nadia is like meeting "the Virgin
Mary" and that she is "a living embodiment", at which Sloane cuts him
off. Upon touching the Sphere Nadia has a vision of violence and a
scene from Svogda at the end of S4.
2004-2005- By this time McCullough has uploaded Sloane's mind to the
Sloane Clone. Sloane becomes head of APO. Sloane Clone acquires
Rambaldi orchid and Elena uses it to infect world's water with the
missing elements of Sloane's earlier attempt, which makes those who
drink it vulnerable to manipulation by the Mueller big red ball.
Sloane Clone reveals Sloane's motives of creating an better human race
and that Sloane has been collecting Rambaldi prototypes for 35 years.
Sloane says that Jacquelyn was born 30 years ago. CIA thinks it brings
down The Covenant, but it just brings down a straw man. Elena's
organization (what we thought was The Covenant) builds on Sloane's
attempt to bring in Rambaldi's endgame, but tries reverse the effects
to make people kill each other. Jack and Sloane have some kind of
agreement that in part has them trying to track down Elena and stop
her.(But-Why would the Sloane Clone work with Elena, unless that is
what Arvin Sloane would (did?) do also?) APO discovers that Irina is
alive and help her escape from Elena. She joins APO's efforts to
thwart Elena's Rambaldi endgame apocalypse. They are successful, but
Nadia is infected in the process and has to be kept in a coma.
Afterward Jack let's Irina escape, Sloane goes to prison, Syd and
Vaughn are driving off to get married and then the CRASH.
2005-2006- Prophet 5 walks out of the darkness it has been hiding in
for 30 years. They kidnap Vaughn from the crash scene wanting him to
help find a former associate of his father who helped break the code
to the Propheta Cinque, a Rambaldi book dealing with DNA and eternal
life. After he escapes, they find Vaughn and almost kill him. Jack and
Syd fake his death and send him off to Bhutan to spend time healing.
P5 has Rambaldi's cure for Nadia's infection and hold it over Sloane's
head to get him to be their mole in APO. Anna E. kidnaps Will, steals
some of Syd's DNA and P5 doubles Anna as Syd. Sloane ends up killing
Nadia and finding a hidden message on Page 47 all at the same time. He
then joins P5, Anna as Syd gets Vaughn to lead her to a bunker where
Vaughn's dad kept all his research on P5. Syd kills Anna before Anna
can kill Vaughn and Syd takes Anna place with P5. Syd as Anna as Syd
meets with another 500 year old man in a prison in Italy where her
picture has been drawn on his cell wall. The man was there to give her
an amulet containing Rambaldi's Sky, a star chart, which Rambaldi gave
him to give to Syd when she found her way there, but Sloane was there
too and stole it from Syd. Sloane kills P5 members and takes over of
their vast fortunes. Sloane, Irina and Sark again work together.
Sloane finds Rambaldi's tomb, becomes immortal there by using the
Sphere of Life/Horizon/miniature Mueller Device and then sends
Rambaldi's immortality fluid to Irina. While Syd travels to stop Irina
from nuking Washington DC and London, Jack blows himself up in
Rambaldi's tomb in order to seal it up and trap Sloane there forever.
Sydney fights with Irina before Irina can become immortal and kills
her.
2012- Dixon meets Vaughn and Syd at their secure undisclosed beach
house and tries to get Syd to do another mission for him. Sark is the
target. Dixon, Syd, Vaughn and their daughter, Isabelle, and son, Jack
take a walk on the beach. But not before Isabelle finds and quickly
puts together a Project Christmas tower puzzle.

I like your logic in this ... it seems pretty solid.
Still, there should be some thorough account of Syd's missing years
and so of Jack's exploits ...
What about the earlier years building up the Alliance.
Irina's early life before being assigned to Jack?
We need answers ...

I just wish we had more background on Sark.
