I had spyware on my computer and installed Spybot and Spyware Buster.
I am no longer getting advertising 'pop ups' or warning messages,
however i do get a blank screen keep coling up with nothing on it.
Does not seem right to me.
Any suggestions as to how I can get rid of this?

To me, the bigger hammer in spyware removal is HiJackThis. Google up the
details. Run it and then post the log to either the automated sites or
to the message boards. You seem to be capable of using Google so I won't
post all the links for you.

All removal tools are based on someone knowing about the malware and
creating a means to remove it.

The only true way to ensure a machine is clean is to wipe it in a clean
environment and rebuild it in a clean environment.

Spybot and others don't get all items, each tool gets many of the bad
guys, but they don't always get all items.

Seriously, the only way to be sure, 100% sure, is to wipe and reinstall.

Fight exposing kids to porn, complain about sites like PCBUTTS 1.COM
that create filth and put it on the web for any kid to see: Just take a
look at some of the FILTH he's created and put on his website:
http://forums.speedguide.net/archive/index.php/t-223485.html all exposed
to children (the link I've include does not directly display his filth).
You can find the same information by googling for 'PCBUTTS1' and
'exposed to kids'.

Yes, it will update your hosts file to block the downloading of
reputable malware fighting tools.

It's provided by a porno-hosting person that shows no sign of ethics.

It's provided by a person that has been identified as a software pirate
by MANY people.

Search for "PCBUTTS1" and "THIEF" and see for yourself.

For the future, dont download or install any apps that contain spyware.
Only download from trusted sites.
