Being raised in Kentucky, there were lots of opportunities for me to be
around horses. I started making protraits of horses at an early age. Each time
I learn a little more about them. The fine lines, the way their coat lays,
the detail of their face. I truely love drawing horses and other
animals. Each one is a challenge in it's own way. And I enjoy learning
more about them all.
A carpenter by trade until about a year ago when I took a fall off of
a latter, which left me with a shattered heel. Unable to contiune my trade,
I am now blessed with doing something that has been a life long dream.
Making protraits for a living.
I do protraits of anamils in chalk or pencil only. Chalk is really a challange
that I enjoy. I seal the finished protrait with a mat finish to ensure a long
lasting portrait.

I am still able to get around enough to do the coustom
framing. I can make quality frames from any material on the market.
