Somehow I lost my Sidebar where I had all my bookmarks listed and as I
surfed the net, the web pages would open in the main frame and the bookmarks
were always visible so I could select another site. This lack of a sidebar
to list my bookmarks is appearing on both my IE6.0.2800.1106IC and home page
of dsl.sbc.yahoo.com and my SBC DSL home page. I want my sidebar and I want
my bookmarks in it!

How did this change happen? I can't find any help articles to get it back
the way it was. The SBC DSL browser home page does have a sidebar, but
'options' do not have bookmarks as a selection. I am really confused!

If you mean "Favorites", I do believe Tim is correct - Ctrl+I. What happend
is you probably accidently clicked on the "Favorites" button on your
toolbar. (Clicking on that turns it on or off very nicely as well as the
Ctrl+I, and is easier to remember for some people.)
