I'm trying to send a large (348mb) file to a friend and no email client I
can find will allow it. I've tried zipping it and no luck there either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The best way of doing that is to put it on a CD and post it.

You can split the file into any number of pieces and send them that
way. There are any number of free programs (Google) that will do
that and they are quite small. You can also split files using WINRAR.

Burn it. Mail the CD.

Or just do it if using outlook express, by selecting 'break apart large
files'.

Outlook Express? It probably does that with small files, too, when
you don't need or want it. Oh, break *apart*. Never mind. :)

Which ever link you use, there is no need to give anybodys email
address, or other information - and if you do make it up.

Use a zip program to break it up into smaller chunks that will fit the
allowance your ISP makes for attachments to email or some kind of direct
copying such as ftp sftp http https etc.
