You're surprised by any of this? I came to the conclusion years ago
that very few in DC actually give a shit about anything more than
keeping their position. As a result, a good amount of them are lying SOBs.

You're barely scratching the surface. There is NO difference
between the two parties, and ALL politicians' primary job is
lying. Anyone who does anything even close to telling the truth
is gone very quickly, if not immediately.

It's because there's an embedded informal organization in reality, thus
the rampant allegations of "shadow government" over the years... And the
"Pentagon" is part of that reality; as is the military-industrial complex
who own much of Congress and likey-as-not most of the President(s) as well.
CIA, NSA, DARPA, FEMA, IRS, AARP, SPCA... it's all the same - black suits and
black helicopters everywhere you go now..

On a smaller level, local sheriff's departments are the classic example...
People get mad, and they run out there and elect themselves a new one.
The actual sheriff is a "constitutional" elected official; however, the
embedded local government management structure as well as the police
unions interfacing with a judicial system which has vested interests in
more specific areas than are generally perceived by the public-at-large
are the real power - and boy-oh-boy, do they know this. Americans can't
assimilate past a 2-dimensional sound-bite... has to do with attention-spans,
fast-food, evolution and TV sets. TVs lost manual controls and the
population loses its collective mind... Co-incidence? I think NOT!

So keep yer tin foil hats handy, 'cause the mother-ship wants your money
and will eat your babies too while you're not even looking. And all the
while the parents will think they've gone off to military school until they
get a flag when the kids come home in coffins. Zombies, that's what we are
now, Zombies feeding the new world order.

So, just drink your Kool Aide; and if you wanna be happy, try the strawberry
flavor instead of the grape. Our insurrectionist Negro not only altered his
Kenyan birth certificate, but he got the Hawaiian government to change his
name from "Uncle Tom" to something more marketable and acceptable.

(PS: It's *all* probably NOT because Clinton got a blow-job... just in case
Fox News wants to weigh-in on the discussion.)

Missed the word estimate did you? considering that in each case the same
number of munitions quite likely were used, I fail to see how you could
come up with a better guess.

The number is based upon the fact that numbers of casualties above 30
required signing off by Rumsfeld. This is a carry-over from the Bush
doctrine. So much for Obama being an agent of CHANGE.

Do you have independant information that Rumsfeld did so and that it's
still done now? that article didn't mention that at all.

Read much?

"We don't know much about how it works, but in 2007, Marc Garlasco, the
Pentagon's former chief of high-value targeting, offered a glimpse when he
told Salon magazine that in 2003, "the magic number was 30." That meant
that if an attack was anticipated to kill more than 30 civilians, it
needed the explicit approval of then-Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld
or President George W. Bush. If the expected civilian death toll was less
than 30, the strike could be OKd by the legal and military commanders on
the ground."

I recently got a copy (for fast general reference) of the 2009
Almanac or whatever it's called. It has the full text of the
constitution - which I have never read in its entirety.

The first 5 paragraphs or so basically spell out why all true
Americans should get rid of the government we have had for the
last 40 years as unconstitutional and against the people.

Sigh...

Everything that has a beginning has an end. Such experiments in
democracy usually only last 200 years, if that.
We'll ikely go through a stage where power continues to accrue to the
monied class and the related corporations, then, an upheaval with
either less freedom and representation (military coup) or an
experiment in true socialism. Hard to say.
