I have a Cricket modem for my laptop and they socked me with a $10 late
charge for being one day late on my bill! ( I scheduled it to be paid
electronically and it must have gotten to them a day late )

I tried calling the local store where I got the modem but they speak such
broken english that I cant understand them!

I tried calling their 800 number, and their system wont even take my
account number, I had to turn on the laptop and dig into the modem
software to find out the modem phone number!

Then they connect me with a guy outside the U.S. who speaks such broken
english that I cant understand a thing he's saying!

The bottom line is, they wont even take the fee off!

Is there a better service I can get for the same money, so I can dump
these scum?!

If you are in Boulder County CO, you can use that information or area
code information to search for alternate carriers who have coverage in
your area.

In addition, another Boulder Co resident posted about a year ago that
she was able to acquire an 800 number which had its center in OKC Okla
City OK who spoke English.

<snip> I use Cricket and I like their service. Also, I have a toll free
customer service here in the United States. If you go to any of the
stores and ask them for this number they may claim they don't have
service centers here in the United States or that they don't have this
number.

866.384.4425 DONT LOSE THIS NUMBER! I couldn't tell you how long it took
me to locate this number but whenever I have called them they've
provided good customer service. This number gets you to a service center
in Oklahoma. </snip> http://snipr.com/tmln9
