ReadyBoot doesn't use flash drives, so I'm not really sure how to
interpret this whole conversation.

ReadyBoost uses flash drives, and takes advantage of the fact that when
accessing very small files, the lack of latency on a flash drive allows
the flash drive to return a response faster than a rotational drive,
despite the rotational drive's raw throughput being faster.

Although ReadyBoot's information is used to help optimize the data
ReadyBoost pre-caches, ReadyBoot doesn't actually use a flash drive.
