DELETE MEAN DELETE ??

I believe that clicking delete does not eliminate
an item completely, but how DO I delete files so
that gone really means gone? Windows XP Home SP 2.

The only thing that happens in the windows "delete" is, the removal of the
directory structure. Which causes that reserved space to become available
and overwritten. The contents of the file are still there.

Download and install CCleaner.exe and it will add an option
to your recycle bin that if you choose that, will *permanently* delete
the files.

complicated. I'm not kidding about this.
