I got through yesterday okay. During the day everything was fine--I
had my drinks and teas and a LOT of water--70 ounces, I think, on top
of everything else! Good thing my office is right by the bathroom,
LOL. I got a little hungry from time to time, but it was nothing
particularly diet-threatening. And I kind of like the taste of the
green drinks--especially the Zesty Tomato! Yum! So I was feeling
pretty good about myself.

The hard part was when I got home and had soup. It wasn't
particularly awful; it was just that I could tell that the merest
sprinkling of salt would make it so much better. Just a little
salt.... I barely made it through the soup, and the tea afterwards
was such a relief. The aloe vera juice, so far, has been the only
thing that actively made me gag. YUCK. I ended up downing it in two
huge swallows. The evening soups are not my favorite things in the
whole world, so far. I know I'm addicted to salt, but this is really
hard!

Nonetheless, I weighed in this morning: 199.8 pounds. Not bad!
Hopefully, that'll keep me motivated for the next few days.

Today and tomorrow promise to be the most difficult days of the diet--
today, I have a dinner I have to attend for work, and tomorrow, I'm
going to be at a conference all day, which includes sit-down meals.
I'm not sure how to deal with that yet--so if anyone has any
experience in that department, I'd love to hear about it! On the
other hand, if I can get through today and tomorrow, I feel confident
I can finish this detox!

If you add some braggs aminos to your soups, that will probably add
the touch of salt you are looking for!!! It really makes it taste much
better.

You can also try adding some vegesplash to your soup!!
