Welcome to the 21 pounds in 21 days support group! We have been getting a lot of questions about what you need to start so here it is: DIRECTLY FROM THE BOOK 21 POUNDS IN 21 DAYS by RONI DeLUZ,RN,ND with JAMES HESTER A juicer if you plan to make your own juice. A good blender to blend the soups you will be making for dinner. An Enzyme tablet to take when you drink juice you made and when you eat the soup you made, do not need to take with powdered supplements (page 121-122). Stevia to sweeten your tea if you choose to. Herbal teas with NO CAFFINE, the exception is White or Green Tea. Distilled Water, Distilled Water, and oh yeah, Distilled Water. This is what you will drink and make your soups with, stock up, get it cold and use it to make ice cubes. You may put a lemon wedge in your Distilled water so, a lemon. An Herbal Cleanse Formula for the colon and liver. You will take 3-9 a day, so stock up. (Page 123) A Green Drink (In the kit it comes as Garden Greens brand "VegeSplash" and "Essential Greens") yes, they are interchangeable (page 118). An Antioxidant Berry Drink, this you will need to visit your Health food store, the book recommends that you get an ORAC rating 7000 (page 120-121). If you do not have this you may substitute one of your green drinks per and email I got from mvdietdetox. Protein Drink for breaking the detox! UNLESS you do not need to lose weight during this process, then see page 212. Aloe Vera juice (Page 122)
A Rough Schedule of your day per the book, see page 174: Basically you need to be giving your body a supplement every two hours from about 8:30 - bed time.
8:30 am High-Density antioxidant Berry Drink, recommended dose of herbal cleansing formula (1-3 a dose), Tea and water. 10:30 am 8oz of water with Green Drink Mixed into it, 8oz of herbal tea, iced or hot. 12:30 pm 1 cup of fresh vegetable juice that you juiced in your juicer and enzymes OR an 8oz water with Green Drink Mixed into it. Also herbal cleansing formula and 8oz of water. 2:30 pm 8oz water with Green Drink Mixed into it, 8oz of herbal tea, iced or hot. 4:30 pm High-Density antioxidant Berry Drink. 6:30 pm Homemade soup and broth, see reciepes starting on page 205, a cup of herbal tea, a dose of enzymes, a dose of herbal cleansing formual (night time if you have it), 8oz of water. 7:30 pm 8oz of iced or hot herbal tea and 8oz of water "Bedtime" a serving of Aleo Vera Juice.
Also required to walk everyday 1 mile. NOTE: You may drink more water and tea if you want. The soup is also referred in the book as "FREE" soup so if you need to eat more, it's ok.
