Re: Making money out of 2012

DWIJADAS GHOSAL <dghos...@yahoo.com>

I have a huge problem with modern-day authors publishing scientific inaccuracies for personal gain. I object to publications  of those authors  who can predict the future by stringing a bunch of pseudo-scientific nonsense to prove the planet is in peril.

After studying the matter in detail, I am convinced that whole issue is a fabricated one and is tantamount to possible hoax.

Hi All
What is your opinion on the plethora of industries which appear to
have sprung out of the 2012 phenomena such as survival aids, books,
videos etc?

Of course, 2012 isn't the first time this has happened. People made
fortunes out of the fear that all the computers in the world would
shut down, the world would come to an end etc. Presumably they are now
happily counting their money somewhere.

Personally, I could not live with myself if I was making money out of
other people's fears and hopes, but perhaps some people out their view
it as a perfectly reasonable activity.

What do you think?
Jackie
