Subject: The Fall of the Maya
According to this, the Maya disappeared because of drought, climate
warming and deforestation. Sound familiar?

The rest of the spacefellowship.com website is worth a look around and
it has several links for those who want to find out the scientific
take on 2012.

hello Jackie,
I have not been on this site for a while, but the Mayans had
connections with the Easter Islanders And look what deforestation did
there, they new first hand the consequences. It's not rocket science
what we are doing to our race and other living creature on our
planet. The planet will take care of itself in time but the life as we
now it here is in great jeopardy if we continue to bury our heads in
the sand.

Subject: Re: The Fall of the Maya
Hello everyone,

It has been quite some time since I have posted as well. Reading this
about the Mayans moved me to post the following, as it is something I
am trying to currently wrap my mind around. Some would say discern its
truth. In any event, this idea is quite controversial and provocative,
so please know at the outset that it is not my intention to incite any
disrespect or malice toward other members' views and/or beliefs.

It is speculated by some - those that  believe in an extra terrestrial
influence on the development of the homo sapiens species -  that the
existence of the Mayans, as well as many other indigenous peoples,
served a two-fold purpose:

1) allow a positive, loving and creative energy signature of light to
be anchored onto our primarily dark-controlled planet; and

2) provide the necessary genetic material to seed Earth with an
abundance of genetically diverse life forms.

As already mentioned, the Mayans' calendar runs out on my birthday in
2011, October 28, the same day as indicated by Calleman. If the above
is true, we will have our hands full with not only an advancement of
the end time date by one year, but we will be grappling with a new
understanding of our true origins and for many, a sudden
disintegration of our belief systems.

Some argue that the Maya did not fall at all, that they are still
there in their jungle cities just beyond our current level of
awareness. We shall soon see.

Regardless of this or that prediction, it is obvious that perhaps the
best thing we can do is face these last three cycles with an open mind
and a semblance of gratitude in our hearts.

Thanks for listening.

-marc

Thanks for the information and input.  All I can say about 2012 or next year or tomorrow is that people  should give attention on much more important and severely necessary focus for our inner self.  What ever happens in the future we, none of us can do anything about it due to its nature of scientific or spiritual status.  We, humans cannot change the nature, may manipulate it but won't do any good because it is powerful and no capacity to change of the course.  People who enjoy talk about it as a something peculiar, suspicious, and unknown curiosity is good for the advancement.  However we have much more important job for us to do immediately is to spread the good news to the world.  It means go back to the Bible and talk about our nation.  History repeats itself is an old adage but it is actually happening today.  Realization of what is happening to human being in the world.  We are destroying ourselves due to hatred, greedy, and
selfishness.  We need to focus on human being in the world first.  The nature environment happens without notification and no one would know when it happens and it is why it's called nature.  When disaster occurs, we panic and despair follows.  Many of us don't know what to do and call for help but if 2012 prediction truly happens, no one can help others due to survival situation.  One day we all have to pay for what human did to Jesus..  Keep your thoughts in Faith and educate others, include your own children to develop character of Christ.  The warning is happening everywhere as yourself witnessing through media.  This world will be destroyed by human and not by nature.  We do it to ourselves and blame on other thing or blame to other humans.  It is the reason why part of problems we see in the world.    "Develop your character, it leaves legacy and it is the only thing you can claim who you are."  All other things are temporary and
unimportant.  I never heard anyone call for his/her trophy he/she received or position held, how much money he/she made in their death bed.  All I've heard is call for God, even atheist called for God to help him/her.  It shows that we are only humans.  We all have limitations but if we share each one of our gift from God can save our world.  God created diversity for the reason.  Our life on the earth is the tests from God.  He is hoping that at least hands full of humans would respond to all the tests the way God expects.  At this 21st century, we are failing God and when we receive F on the score, we must face the consequences.  Keep your attitude positive and do not forget appreciation, kindness, and hope.

Marc, it is a very inspiring vision that you present, and I believe
that an open mind is at the very heart of what everyone needs,
regardless of date or time. How many of us, though, can say we have a
truly open mind? - very few, if any. At best, we can only strive for
this. We are "programmed" by our genetics, our upbringing, our culture
etc to look at a situation in a certain way - and we try to make sense
of what we see by fitting it within our own personal framework - but
there are many shapes and sizes of frames!

I wonder what happens to us if our consciousness is expanded. Say,
just for the sake of this argument, extra-terrestrials - or God - or
something - suddenly "flicked a switch" in an unused part of our
brains, and expanded that consciousness. How many of us could actually
tolerate that? Would it not cause, for many, such a confusion and
bewilderment that they would go insane?

Masayo speaks eloquently for a return to the Bible and Jesus Christ,
but I wonder what happens to all those who subscribe to other
religions, which may still have the same basic truths embedded in them
- who perhaps have never studied or heard of Christianity?

Nevertheless, I think we are all saying the same thing in different
ways - live a good life and the rest will follow.
Jackie
