I used to trade music with a guy from London who told me he saw the
automatics live at the time but didn't have any recordings. I'm happy
enough with the LP for now but I'm sure something will turn up some
day like that 1981 gig from New York listed below.

I can't say I have every paid over the odds for any 2 Tone item. The
most cash I ever parted with was for the Lyceum LP, but by todays
standards it was a bargin.

£12 (or there abouts) for the 2 Tone Promo EP TTP1

There's a lot of talk on how crazy the prices are for 2 Tone items
these days (which they are), so I would just love to hear what great
deals any 2-tone forum posters have gotten on 2 tone items in the past

my first post on here and Iam seeing if there was any recollection of
the great and out of order BIM
first saw them support The Beat in and the Bodysnatchers in 1980
they made a couple of singles 'delicious gone wrong' and 'request
time' their songs were
simplistically put together but live they were awesome and raw ,

Cheers for that link. I will definitely be buying that CD. 1) because the
original was a masterpiece; 2) Slick 66; 3) One of the tracks on the album
samples The Specials (Dawning Of A New Era from memory).
