Does anyone know of any live recordings ever existing of the band that
became The Specials and does anyone know if there were any recordings
of The Specials on tour with The Clash????

I've often wondered the same Willo, the Clash movie "Rude Boy" was made during their "On Parole" tour, which the Specials/Automatics were support, a new DVD version with extra footage was released a few years ago, but not a sniff of the support band, but given that the film has footage from many concerts, you would imagine there must be something lurking somewhere....

I used to trade music with a guy from London who told me he saw the
automatics live at the time but didn't have any recordings. I'm happy
enough with the LP for now but I'm sure something will turn up some
day like that 1981 gig from New York listed below.
