  Bob, &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Some Clarification! When Commissioned Officers retire they are placed on &lt;br&gt; the retired list. It doesn&#39;t matter whether they have 20 or 30 years. In &lt;br&gt; the Marine Corps and Navy enlisted are transferred to the &amp;quot;Fleet Reserve&amp;quot; &lt;br&gt; and formally retire at 30 years. I am not sure about the other services.

Now senior officers (O-7 to O-11) and Senior Enlisted &lt;br&gt; (E-8 to E-10) can stay up to 40 - ( FORTY ! ) years and draw 100% base pay

  Nov 5th was the summary judgment hearing. We won this first round. &lt;br&gt; Now it is off to the Bill of Review Trial on Nov 16th. We thought &lt;br&gt; there may be a settlement in between but now it is looking like we &lt;br&gt; will just go all the way. &lt;br&gt; Regardless of DFAS stating former spouse percentage based on the &lt;br&gt; wording in the original DRO is 19.5272% and she currently gets 37%

Remember, small steps lead to big gains.
