Hello list,

Our developer, Thinker Li, is recently working on a new project --
FreeBroid, which enables FreeBSD users to develop
Android without installation of Linux. The target of the project to
run Android on FreeBSD; a.k.a. with BSD kernel. You
can check out the repository here:
http://gitorious.org/freebroid

Sincerely,
Jim Huang (jserv)

Sounds very interesting!

So the target platform is x86, or what?

Yes! It is FreeBSD-x86 at begining, at least.

Greetings,

I´ve similar project BSDroid and already added USB support for adb.

I see your git repository have no this commit yet, although it was
already merged to main branch
(see https://review.source.android.com/#change,12325).

So, it´s just to save your time, if you will release sdk for 8.0 or
want to use libusb in earlier FreeBSD releases.

Good luck with project.
