He corregido un par de faltas de ortografía, pero el "kindly" que
estaba en rojo, yo no lo he puesto así que eso lo he dejado tal cual

Hola

le he echado un ojo a la carta en inglés y he cambiado algunas cosas
que os deben aparecer en verde oscuro. Simplemente he cambiado algunas
estructuras usadas en castellano por otras más utilizadas en inglés.

espero que podáis ver la carta, ya que yo no soy capaz de encontrarla
con mis modificaciones (mi 2º día en google documents :-S)

Open letter to Spanish Prime Minister and representative of the next
turn in the EU Presidency, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero.

Dear President,

We are the generation that can eradicate hunger in the World for the
first time ever. And we do intend to do so.

Our message is simple and clear: eradicate severe malnutrition is the
World is possible. For this reason, we kindly ask you to use your
position as Prime Minister and as representative of the EU Presidency
during the next turn, to help us spreading this message of hope.

We can achieve our goal(aim?) by requesting the EU and the rest of the
developed countries to use Ready-to-use food (RUF) based treatments
and programmes. We also want to encourage you to increase specific and
mass distribution of these food-programmes against malnutrition as can
be Plumpy'nut (a socially sustainable programme developed in the
countries themselves).

In the same way, we also want our message to be part of the
Civilizations Alliance Forum, as there is no bigger alliance that the
one generated when a civilization helps another one to survive after
years and years of neglect. First World has this debt with Third World
and Developing countries.

We do support the Al Gore's idea of making a movie against
malnutrition in the World, but we do believe it is more important the
comminment of Politicians who hold positions as yours. We are working
in the same way as you do, as far as our capacity as committed
citizens allows us to do so.
